@rip_imho surely the answer is <by pointer>, but the tendency in C is for metadata (like how many elements per row) to be managed on the side, or implicit, so I don't know how you would get that knowledge passed.
@pee_zombie I'm curious; how much work is it to run this instance, and how much of it is technical vs social?
(Like, managing disk space or memory usage or updates vs responding to reports or whitelisting and blacklisting servers.)

hot take: the more i use it the more i feel like C is an overgrown scripting language. the basic syntax and concepts involved are extremely simple, it runs on virtually anything, and its very resistant to having code in more than a single file. that's a heccin scripting language if i ever seen one
