🌱 My Neighbor Mastodon 2
Thank you, thank you, *thank you* for being more than 20K to follow my art here. It's fantastic.
Someone actually bothered to report me for a reply opposing the removal of Russian composers from the repertoire of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. News flash: factually, that is not "misinformation", nor is it "propaganda for Russian imperialism".
As promised, here’s an update on Searchtodon.
I have shut it down & deleted all data (as of 14:06 CET today).
As implemented, it does not gel *with* the Mastodon community, although the functionality did prove useful to a lot of people.
I’m working on a retrospective that hopefully can inform future experimenters.
Thanks everybody for giving it a try and for all your constructive feedback!
Eve: Alice, I need you to explain this bill from OpenAi. How did you use so much compute?
What is true is already so.
Owning up to it doesn't make it worse.
Not being open about it doesn't make it go away.
And because it's true, it is what is there to be interacted with.
Anything untrue isn't there to be lived.
People can stand what is true,
for they are already enduring it.
