👾 a basilisk has a challenge rating of 3 (Monster Manual, 5th Edition) so the so-called Rocco’s Basilisk should be an average challenge for a party of four level 3 adventurers (unless it has been modified to be stronger but I think most would agree the DM of the Universe is extremely hands-off in DMing style.)

therefore anyone afraid of Rocco’s Basilisk must either be lower than a level 3 person or else not have three friends to battle it with.

lewd???? what?????

2043 will be the year of Abstract Syntax Trees ruining Foxboys

For any of you who bought Minecraft and haven't migrated to a Microsoft account yet, you have until September 19th to migrate or you will lose access to the game forever (fuck Microsoft).

If you don't remember your password or whatever then you have until then to sort it out somehow and migrate your account.

Pic unrelated.

I hope that the fuming about inspires people to make improvements to the fediverse.

With @moaparty shutting down their crossposter, I can now post absolutely unhinged takes on fedi without having to worry about them being mirrored to Twitter.

They accepted my offer.

I will soon be a homeowner again.

I think I've found a browser bug.

I at least have found a difference between Chrome and Firefox in how they handle container queries.

How can I figure out which one is right and file a bug for the other?

So I tried to add a private field to a class and the build broke because "Private fields in decorated classes are not supported yet", and I'm just like: what are we even doing?

I swear, the tools get in the way as often as they help.

I've been doing work on web components, and I like the baseline feature.

But we're using a framework that puts decorators on everything, and that seems like a bunch of extra work for no real benefit.

A lot of people talking about on fedi are just starting by assuming bad faith, and projecting their fears.

so on #Bluesky, rather than going with the well-documented and defined webfinger protocol, behind the .well-known directory, decided to make their own shit for verifying domains via HTTP.

thus, somebody took the S3 bucket name "xrpc" and now is s3.amazonaws.com on the platform
