do you feel more of a difference or similarity in your relationship with the previous decade, between each instance of such? i.e. do the 2010s feel to you now like the 2000s felt when it was 2011? or how the 1990s felt to you when it was 2001?

ok i have a question for people who have been continuously conscious for >2 decades (i.e. like 30 or older):

is there more of a similarity or difference between your current relationship to the previous decade (i.e. the 2010s) than previous instances of such?

when did they start calling pop music from the 50s-60s "oldies"

is it because there's an expectation for ppl to be "responsible for themselves" in the sense of making promises wrt what they are going to do and who they are going to be

is it implied that everyone in society has made some sort of such a promise to some extent

i don't really mind if it was sociopathic but i am a bit curious why
