maybe you have to do one or the other to make a good movie - anything in the middle is a valley of halfway mediocrity

i like when a film is "symbolic" and "open ended" and barely makes sense but i also like it when a film is immaculately arranged and ties up all the loose ends like a neat little parcel
i can tell already that its gonna turn into a canker sore and will haunt me for weeks to come
