@flancian it's not a complete description, but I think I mostly endorse this (though that hinges on a belief that most people want to be at least a bit good, and want to avoid being bad at reasonably high cost, many positive sum trades are left on the ground due to irrationality and actively bad people are rare)

@flancian but also, it's easier to convince people that they want become smart than to convince them to become more moral
