I don't think this is true, actually, but Princess Mononoke is the rare example of a movie without villains done right
and I guess the emperor's men and the hunters in general aren't very cool, but jigo as their leader is interesting enough to make up for that
also it's absolutely wild that a movie made by a studio primarily known for their children's movies and wholesome vibe has better action scenes than I've seen in basically any action movie ever
