I got the shot itself while sitting at a school cafeteria table next to a nurse, surrounded by many other people at many other tables. not in a doctor's office. there's something strangely beautiful about that.
got my vaccine today & as I was waiting in line, looking around at the school gym filled with folding chairs, I was overcome with emotion. my heart swelled with pride at what we pulled together in this timeframe & it nearly brought tears to my eyes. made me think of this XKCD
