@0bviouSquirre1 @KanekoTheKoolio free too!!! just name your repo [username].github.io and it’ll auto host on github pages. you can then set a custom domain in repo settings

it was chapter 14. of all the transcendentalists, i think steinbeck really Got It the most

there is a passage in (i think) chapter 11 of the grapes of wrath that talks about emergence on the next layer of abstraction, which i like even more. i’ll try and find it

a particularly spicy tweet i would like to share with you all

@taalumot @heiso was slightly further out, in north west london, but both ended up being around 20 minutes by tube

@KanekoTheKoolio (taal lmk if you want to be untagged given that this is a ridiculous tangent lmao)

@KanekoTheKoolio @taalumot ok awesome will check out! agreed that spotifyd is trash, the only way i could get it to work was to use another device on the network to play, and use the tui just for queueing and control

@KanekoTheKoolio @taalumot glad to find another tui fan in the wild tho. running exclusively spotify-tui and a spotify daemon makes me feel like a haxxor but i think brings almost 0 performance benefit

@KanekoTheKoolio @taalumot if u don't mind more CLI in your life then hugo deploying to netlify via gh repo is the most joyful and lightweight blogging experience i've ever used

@taalumot @KanekoTheKoolio it really is the golden age. hugo is even better but has a bit more technical overhead and doesn't integrate directly with github. it's amazing that you can have your own corner of the internet for domain price/year

@KanekoTheKoolio underrated solution is Jekyll Now: jekyllnow.com

Uses the jekyll static site generator, but is no-code. you just fork the respo, fill in your blog deets/socials in the config.yml file on github, and upload your posts as markdown. it'll automatically build and publish

@taalumot @heiso @taalumot @heiso i grew up equidistant to both the spurs stadium and emirates. one day, when i was 8, my best friend told me spurs had chosen him. naturally, this made me an arsenal supporter. i hope you can understand that there was no choice in the matter
