No Google... Yahoo is King? Sounds about 60% as good. Perhaps more innovation at the margins that Google has edged out since Yahoo would probably have not grown as big since management has been shit.
No Amazon. Shit. No AWS. No 2 day delivery. E books are available for some but certainly not all titles, scattered across walled garden stores. Tech innovation stagnates.
Maybe Wal-mart replicates 70% of Amazon logistics? 3-day delivery?
Who does AWS? Google still can’t provide decent cloud services for everyone, and would cut off anything they perceived as a competitor.
No one else has the market power to get ebooks into a unified market.

No Google means competitive markets in smartphone OSs and Video sharing sites.
Google does a lot of market destroying.
No Facebook? Twitter reigns supreme followed by Insta. Not that different from today.
