I read the first part of this tweet and assumed that “Jeff Brain of CloutHub” was an insult of some kind twitter.com/daveweigel/status/

sometimes an actual person would come along and just be like "what the actual fuck is going on in this thread" and then dip but mostly it was just me choking and gasping for air because of how much I cracked myself up

all pretending to be different people and calling each other out for being the same person, but all obviously the same person. this would amuse me so much I'd run out of breath from laughing so hard (and same exact thing is happening *right now* as I'm thinking about it)

when I was 16 I'd go on /b/, start a thread w/ a tripcode, reply to it pretending to be someone else but w/ the same tripcode (making it obvious it was the same person), reply to it *again* calling myself out but still w/ the same tripcode, etc. just a thread with a million posts

sometimes I'm like "why does it feel like there's something vital missing from my life, like I'm ignoring something major, no matter what I do I don't feel fully satisfied, always both restless and tired, scattered, foggy"

and then I'm like "oh right, it's regular exercise"

I got the shot itself while sitting at a school cafeteria table next to a nurse, surrounded by many other people at many other tables. not in a doctor's office. there's something strangely beautiful about that.

yeah it hasn't been anywhere near perfect & there's been horrendous amounts of mismanagement of the pandemic. but the development & deployment of the vaccine has been truly something to behold, and I'm so proud of us as a species
