Arguments between instance admins about who to block and who to federate with are probably all the same arguments that happened internally at Twitter about individuals or groups of users, but you just never saw it and had no input into the process.
Here, at least in theory, you have visibility into these decisions and you can choose to move your home at nearly zero cost if you disagree with them.
Question is, do people really want to know how these particular sausages are made?

Don’t forget to teach your kids these skills.
Also, demonstrate these behaviors.
Let your kids see you being bad at something and not giving up and staying positive.
