turn off 100% of notifications
no attention hijacking here 😌
@protoneutype yeah it does feel gentler on the good ol attentional systems

this ux is far superior to twitter
@protoneutype turning off all twitter notifications, including badges, was one of the best decisions I made with my twitter account.
imagine a social network with zero notifications
why did it become a thing for us to be pinged when someone likes an update or responds to a message 🤔
answer: bc it keeps us glued to said app
ultimately nothing in a notification commands immediate attention
this isn't rocket science folks
no alarm bell ➡️ peace of mind
