it's p clear to those who know me that I don't subscribe to the metaphysically-woo interpretations of such language, but these words point at something v real even in the mundane context; much of occultism is in fact chaotic cognitive hacking, & our minds are rather open to such.

mild infohazards floating around such as "you are now manually breathing" should be treated as speed bumps; proof that if you dive in w/o care you can end up seriously hurting yourself and others, such as those who did not opt in to being in your psychic blast radius.

the flipside of learning to access your minds metaprogramming facility consciously is that you become able to disrupt autonomic processes you have no business messing w/ unless you really know what you're doing; one should think twice before fucking with naturally evolved systems

gotta admit that this is quite hilarious all around tbh, altho it speaks to the infohazardous nature of just leaving psychic engineering instructions just lying around w/o the appropriate safeguards. esoteric traditions are occluded, so to speak, to avoid precisely such mishaps.

a phenomenological interpretation would suggest that during an intentionally-triggered dissociative trance state she reified the Allah egregore as a tulpa, attempted to forcibly terminate it & was mildly traumatized by her inability to do so. don't fuck around w tulpas, kids.

a need to transfer value btwn people, w/o the ability for 3rd parties to stop them from doing so... hm... perhaps to solve this problem we need a way to keep track of who has how much money, mb by letting each other know when anyone spends it... feel like there's something here.

but really, exponential growth is quite something to behold. those on the right are often too well aware of this, with their fear of being out-breeded by brown people

but what about those on the left? what use is your ideology if you'll be vastly outnumbered?

can someone explain to me why the rightoids are mad about this? I rewatched it a few times and can't find anything. no major factual discrepancies, relatively mild mannerisms, no outrage farming to speak of. what am I missing?

so, is "the broader geopolitical context" in the room with us right now?

appreciate all the responses thus far, this clearly isn't something I think about much so, this has been enlightening. war and geopolitics in the abstract is very different than the messy details lmao

is it like, a sense of impending doom due to the foreshadowed collapse of the neoliberal globalism project? is it that "America fucked up oh no"? like what's the big obvious thing I can't see

ok so what am I missing here exactly, why do we care about what happens in Afghanistan? like I can understand people who served there feeling like it was pointless, and those with investments that would be affected... but why the rest of us? what's got everyone so upset?

this pattern certainly got me to churn out a fair number of cool projects over the years, but they mostly all fizzled out once the initial excitement faded; a classic ADHD pattern

hoping this time I do things differently, in theory having learned from my very many mistakes

in the past I would have just started immediately while the excitement was fresh and kept going until I got a basic prototype working, and then collapse

you may find the claim that donning glasses makes one a cyborg a bit absurd, but let me assure you it squares with the traditional definition. if this bothers you, perhaps use it as an impetus to reevaluate your notions of what a human is & ought to be; you may find it worthwhile
